Good day, beautiful sister,
I’ve been writing creatively since I was nine, so by the time I entered the
professional world, I was a prolific writer. But, I was weighed down by
perfectionism, fear of rejection, polarities between creativity and
prosperity, fear of success and money, among many other layers of obstacles
that did not allow me to offer my writings to the world. I kept fixing
things, but never published them. As a result, I had so many books, poems
and stories in my drawers, that I couldn’t close them!

When I began my healing journey and became a Woman of Power or shaman, I
cleared up these blockages. Now I can write an ebook in a day, and
frequently do. I write an ebook in a day and publish it the next. I just

My secret? Achieving trust in the state of grace that
naturally comes to us when we open to receive. My message? Trust what you

Biography
PBS-featured artist-shaman María Mar integrates
writing, visual art and performance to create interactive art experiences
that change peoples' lives. She specializes in personal growth and women's
empowerment through the arts and is an internationally known spiritual
teacher. As an artist, Maria is a poet, performer, fiction and non-fiction writer, visual artist and
storyteller with more than 20 years of professional experience.

Her wise counsel, with tools and insights for
women's lives, has been featured in a variety of media outlets, including
the Spanish-language
radio segment for women in Arizona, Cuerpo y Alma de Mujer, her monthly column at Alumbo! the
self-help supersite, as well as profiles and appearances in New York/Newsday
and other printed, radio and TV media. She has been featured in
BronxNet "Open" show, hosted by Rhina Valentín. Maria also contributes
frequently to women's magazines, such as Ser Padres, Viva/Daily News,
Creations and many others. Maria Mar's healing voice is one of her
Medicines, bringing peace and insights into any encounter. Humor, compassion
and piercing honesty are her trademarks. She offers Spirit with Spice!
Maria Mar's live performances, featured in PBS,

to help women in their self-empowerment, spiritual evolution and

Maria Mar

Ecuelecuá Interarts, for six years.
In this capacity, she networked with women's organizations and service
organizations, to bring her performances to their clients, creating
empowerment workshops and interactive art events to help them explore
alternative lifestyles, prevention of social problems and other relevant
issues.
