Praise of Write to
Dream Radio Show
"I was
so uplifted by the call, and thank you for the book gift! Really. I'm
searching for a good novel right now and the best ones are always
gifts. Best of luck in your program, I think it's a great thing to
do."

Write to Dream Radio Show is able to
present in a fun and interesting manner, ideas and tips for publishing
your books. The program host, Maria Mar, invites professionals with
knowledge and sensitivity that address the possibility of marketing
and publishing at a large scale. I realized, after listening and
participating in two programs, that their interactive format and open
dialogues are eliciting new ideas and potential for my books. I highly
recommend Write to Dream Radio Show to all Latinas and Latinos
that are writing and want to reach more audiences.

It was such a delight to be on
your wonderful show. I felt an INSTANT connection with you, too. I
learned so much from your wisdom. One of my favorite things you said
(and I've quoted you twice today) was "Obstacles are arrows." Wow!

button on the Host Channel page. Your computer must have the Windows Media

for the QuickTime player.
First, remember that you can listen without calling in!
The only time you have to call is if you have a question or comment, or if you
are a guest, in which case you need to enter the show through dialing in the
phone number from the beginning. Let's say you've been listening and you want to
ask a question, then you can connect to our radio show in several ways.
PHONE DIAL-IN: You can
call the host during the the show's live broadcast using any phone,
whether it be a landline, mobile, VOIP, soft phone, etc. To reach the host by
phone, dial the phone number that appears on the Programming Guide or on their
Host Channel page.
The dial-in number is (646)595-3004 and the PIN number is
25653
When you dial-in, you will automatically be placed
into a queue where you are visible on the host switchboard. When the host
takes your call, you will be live on the air and audible to his or her
audience. However, you can and may be muted at the host's discretion. See
instructions to get ready for that call.
WEB-DIAL IN. If and
while the show is live, a
"Click to Talk" button will appear on the
Host Channel page. With a microphone or headset connected to your computer,
clicking this button will also place you in the call-in queue using
BlogTalkRadio's VoIP technology, just as making a phone call would.
When you click the
"Click to Talk"
button, a connection window will pop up and you will be asked to type your
name so that the host may identify you on his or her switchboard.
INSTANT MESSENGER:
Finally, the Host Channel may also include an instant messenger screen name so
that you can reach the show or host for a live chat. or on their Host Channel
page. To call via IM, dial to the Skype name
amarmira.
Can a listener call into a show without having to dial the
U.S telephone number?
Yes. BlogTalkRadio, our radio service, includes a
feature on the show page which allows listeners to select the
"Click to Talk"
button during any live show and, through a microphone connected to the
listener's computer, join the show as a caller. This service is free to
listeners. If you have a microphone and sound card hook up into
your computer, you can call in using this method.
How
many people can listen to the show at the same time?
Unlimited
people can listen to the show at any given time. Simply click your
streaming audio link from your Host Channel page or the
Programming Guide and they will be able to listen.
However,
only 5 people can talk at the same time,
including the host and guests. This means that if you call, you may be
placed on queue until another person finishes her question.
Here are some
guidelines to make the best of your call:
Be ready with
your question or comment, so that you don't miss the call.
Remember to begin
with your name, mention your book's title, if you have a book, or your
event, and your website or other contact information.
State your
question or comment clearly and concisely. While we love dialog and want
to keep an intimate, warm conversation going, if you ramble on, you are taking
away someone else's opportunity to participate, and you may be disconnected.
Of course, if you are an interviewed guest, a Special Participating Audience
member or have been asked something, you are welcome to express your views.
GUESTS: Guests that will be
interviewed MUST call in. The dial-in number is (646)595-3004 and the
PIN number is 25653.
You can also call in
via Voip. Dial Skype name amarmira.
No. BlogTalkRadio, our radio service, includes a feature on
the show page which allows listeners to select the
"Click to Talk"
button during any live show and, through a microphone connected to the
listener's computer, join the show as a caller. This service is free to
listeners. If you have a microphone and sound card hook up into
your computer, you can call in using this method.
"Click to Talk" is a
feature of the service which allows any listener with a computer, connectivity
and a microphone to call into a show from anywhere in the world using
BlogTalkRadio's voIP technology at no charge.
I am a listener and do not see the "Click to Talk" button
on the show page.
First, check the scheduled air date and time. The
"Click to Talk" button only shows up during the live show once the
show has begun.
Will the show be recorded? How can I listen to the
recording?

book's title, subtitle and your website or contact information, so that Maria
Mar can mention it if you win an award. You will not receive double

are not in the live audience at the time the show airs. If you posted a
